Langesø forest is a nice excursion destination with several walking paths around Langesø (lake)
– one of the largest lakes in Funen – which together with the beautifully hilly forest area invites you to splendid walks.
A tramp around the lake leads you past Langesø Forest Chapel, one of Funen’s most popular wedding chapels, and Langesø Castle.
The forest is one of the few privately owned, with the possibility of horseback riding on the marked bridle paths.
For children the “Tarzan course” would probably be a hit.
Spend the day on Langesø (the lake) in a rented boat with or without your fishing rod or play a round on the nice golf-course laid out by the castle.
Langesø Estate makes up one of the country’s largest manufactures of spruce for Christmas decoration. Every year in August, Langesø Estate organises the world’s largest fair for Christmas trees with more than 3,000 visitors from Denmark and aboard.
