| Bogense Marina/Harbour The beautiful sight of all the yachts welcomes you to Bogense Marina (yacht harbour) - the largest in Funen – which every year is visited by sailors from near and far. Bogense Marina was opened in 1976 and has been renovated and enlarged several times, making it the largest in Funen with space for 700 boats. From the marina a short walk takes you to the centre of Bogense with its charming old market town atmosphere, good shopping possibilities and cosy restaurants. The marina is placed close to the child friendly beach and the harbour with the original atmosphere on one side and the totally renovated water front on the other. Situated between sea and belt Bogense Marina is the ideal starting point for sailings to the bays of East Jutland, to the islands Endelave, Tunø and Samsø or a trip round Funen. The Fyn Cup – the largest long-distance race in Denmark – was started here in 1990.
